Submissions of local topics/issues will significantly increase one's chances of being published. Unsolicited submissions remain the intellectual property of their author(s). No more than one story or six poems should be submitted at one time.

We do not consider simultaneous submissions or material that has been previously published.

FICTION

Cakewalk

This isn't one of those stuffy books that start out with, "Oh, I was born in Ohio in 1939 and I lived on a farm and girls my age weren't really all that interested in me..."

POLITICS

Roundabout Rokosz

The Tridge is quite pleased with some recent decisions made by Midland City Councilman Joseph Rokosz.

CULTURE

Seamstress Of Saginaw

She couldn't really afford to buy clothes in high school, so fifteen-year-old Elisa Spyker decided to start making her own.

MUSIC

Traveling Kid Secret

We're going to call it the S.Y.S. Festival. It stands for Support Your Scene. The whole idea is to give these younger groups a bigger spotlight.

EDITORIAL

'Pizza Boy' v. Sore Loser

Garnet Lewis' blog monitoring Representative Jim Stamas paints her as an extremely sore loser.

MUSIC

Your Best Friend

Though they've put in the work necessary to deserve headlines, they don't put on any airs or treat anyone any differently.
