Board of Education Votes To Close Five Schools
MIDLAND, Mich. — The Board of Education voted unanimously Monday to close five elementary schools — Chippewassee, Cook, Longview, Mills, and Parkdale — next year. The closures come as the board struggles to deal with declining population and expected budgetary shortfalls.
